Last year, Special Event Services carried out a number of modifications to the DHL unit, including converting the race deck and car storage area into a fully functional production office for the Sky team. This year, the unit has come back for additional upgrades, with further changes required to enhance its operational use.
Works have included the removal of fixed seating and the conversion of areas into dedicated desk space, the installation of sliding doors, and the addition of steps to improve access between different sections of the vehicle. Alongside these alterations, we have completed full servicing of all systems, including hydraulic servicing and Lola certification, ensuring the unit meets all required operational and safety standards ahead of the upcoming season.
